Running a Design Challenge Remotely

In an attempt to keep things as "normal" as possible, we ran an optional Team Engineering and Design Challenge in our new distance learning model. That said, we had 40 join us for our ZOOM Lunch Meeting to kick things off.

We have found great success running a soft start, giving kids 5 minutes to get themselves situated with tech. We followed with a few minutes Q/A about our classes. Once we felt we had most of our participants, we rolled out the challenge and then posted it in our team Google Classroom.

1) Watch "Create your own Flappy Game" video.
2) Complete all 10 training puzzles by following the onscreen instructions.
3) After the 10th puzzle you will be prompted to share. Share your game by copying the URL and pasting it as a class comment on this assignment.
4) Click <Finish>. Create your Certificate of Completion and turn in with this assignment.

ONCE YOU ARE DONE -->  GO TO THE CLASS COMMENTS AND PLAY EACH OTHER's GAMES. REPLY WITH A REVIEW OUT OF  5 STARS *****! (No test please.)

30 students stayed on the zoom for over an hour while they shared their screens as they played each other's games
