• Construct sail car according to blue print. Test in hall.
• FAHY/OAKLEY: Discuss lab and computing surface area.
• Test the effect of increasing sail area on sailing distance.
• FAHY/OAKLEY: Discuss design goals and regular geometric shapes.
• Design sails of regular geometric shapes.

Homework:

• Sketch 4 possible sail design on graph paper. Show with dotted lines how they are a combination of regular geometric shapes. Think about how they will be supported.
