Offline for years, this blog is back to serve as a venue in which to share strategies for distance learning in response to COVID-19. I will use it daily to share what I do in class as I shift to a remote teaching model for Biology. Please feel free to try these ideas and use the comment section to share your thoughts, experiences and resources. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! :)

Mr. Fahy (science teacher) and Mr. Patterson (technology teacher) were invited to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory inPasadena , CA to discuss ways to bring science and engineering into the classroom. This is done in conjunction with the landing of ROVER Curiosity on the planet Mars on 8/5/2012. The goal of the session is to create a Mars ROVER project to be implemented at Pine Grove Middle School in 2013.
